01 / ANDROID

Android phone or tablet

  1. Open the Spacevi website in Chrome over HTTPS.
  2. Tap Install Spacevi. If no prompt appears, open Chrome’s menu and choose Add to home screen → Install, when offered.
  3. Open Spacevi from your home screen and allow microphone access when you want to speak.

This installs the web app. No APK download is needed.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Open Spacevi in Safari.
  2. Open Share → Add to Home Screen.
  3. Enable Open as Web App if shown, then tap Add.
  4. Launch the Spacevi icon from your home screen.

No App Store download or IPA file is required. Available menu wording varies by OS version.

MADE FOR THE SOFA

Set up your television.

Spacevi is currently a web app, not a Samsung, LG, Android TV or Apple TV store listing. Installation support and video codecs vary by television and browser.

Samsung & LG smart TVs

  1. Open the TV’s internet browser, if available.
  2. Enter your Spacevi website address, then open Get app / TV setup.
  3. Choose Open TV mode. Use the remote arrows and OK to browse.
  4. Bookmark the page for your next visit. Some models allow a home-screen shortcut; this is not available on every TV.

If playback or controls fail on an older browser, use a supported casting device or HDMI instead. Installing a native Tizen/webOS app requires a separate signed TV build.

Android TV / Google TV / Fire TV

  1. If your device has a compatible browser, open Spacevi and choose TV mode.
  2. Use the browser’s bookmark or shortcut option where available.
  3. If there is no suitable browser, cast from a supported phone/computer or connect a computer with HDMI.

Android phone PWA installation does not automatically create an Android TV app. No TV APK is included.

Apple TV & AirPlay televisions

  1. Open Spacevi on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
  2. Use AirPlay from the video player when available, or use Screen Mirroring to an Apple TV/AirPlay receiver.
  3. Select the receiver on the same Wi-Fi network.

Control Spacevi on the source device. A TV remote generally cannot navigate the mirrored website. Stream providers may restrict external playback.

Computer + TV

  1. Connect your computer using HDMI, or use Chrome’s Cast menu with a compatible receiver.
  2. Open Spacevi and enter TV mode.
  3. Use a keyboard or a paired remote that sends keyboard/media keys to the computer.

HDMI alone does not guarantee your TV remote controls the computer. Spacevi does not currently include a dedicated Google Cast receiver.

Enter TV mode first. A gold focus ring shows the active control. Key availability depends on what the device delivers to its browser.

Text boxes and select menus keep their normal keyboard behavior. Use Back to leave a panel. Power, input selection, proprietary voice buttons and TV operating-system menus cannot be controlled by this web app.

Before your first session.

Audio & microphone

Choose a channel and press Play. Browsers can require this initial gesture. Microphone support varies; you can always type to the avatar. A TV remote’s built-in microphone is not automatically shared with the browser.

Favorites & updates

Favorites stay on the current device and website origin. They do not sync automatically across phone and TV. Reopen the installed app to load website updates. Changing domains creates separate browser storage.

Offline & compatibility

The installed app displays an offline page if disconnected. Live broadcasts, AI, weather and news require internet. A working channel depends on the broadcaster, location and supported video format.
